I think that kind of memory lapse would make him unworthy of calling himself an elephant. No, he's full of beans - that's why he does so much trampelling.

My own theory is that while Bob was asleep one day, the room was built around him.

It affected me a lot. In a bad way - although I suppose if I had been sent to day schools I would have lived with my mother and sister which would have created other psychological complications.

Gosh! I don't know how I let "Lets" through. I'm a pedant - an increasingly dyslexic pedant, unfortunstely. I should have looked "Smorgasbord" up - although I knew about the omlatt(sp?) but ouldn't find it on the keyboard. I will make the necessary changes and people will wonder what this exchange is about.

Don't mind spelling corrections if I get your praise as well.

At risk of being labelled a spelling obsessive, I'll mention that I think it's Smorgasbord (or even Smörgåsbord). I'll even be brave and say you might mean "Let's" instead of "Lets", and be attacked by all the greengrocers, demanding their apostrophes back.
